Hello, the Large Hadron Collider is a particle accelerator. It is effectively a large circular underground tunnel. It is the worlds largest experimental facility and the largest single machine. The facility is at CERN in switerzland, Brian Cox works there! You can visit it, I visited last year. The machine examines the universes tiniest particles to hopefully reveal so more of the secrets of the universe.
