      Hello.
I think all different types of engineering are interlinked.
For example if we want to make a certain material construction we might need to work with someone to engineer a machine that is capable of making what we want.
We create different test methods to check the properties of our materials which often means we need to make new machines too.
We also work with chemical engineers to develop new types of finishes that make our materials suitable for our end use. Imagine a swimsuit that doesn’t get wet!!
Appreciating and having some element of understanding of different engineering skills makes you able to understand a wider application for your project.
Hope that answers your question okay? Please ask for more if you need it!
